Working in banks is really tough, everyone knows that it means more income with longer working hours. I'm starting to realise the "long working hours" part whereby nobody leaves at exactly the knock-off time and u have to at least add an hour to it. The whole week is a learning week where i still can slack and knock off earlier than my colleagues but starting fm tmr i guess i will have work assigned. I must really be a fast learner and worker in order to not go home too late.
Well i'm starting to not feel so bored each day as i learn about the different products, drawing scenarios and constructing contracts. Though its tough to encounter different products everyday, it is certainly a good learning process and a great challenge to master and be good in it. Nov will be a v busy month with high volumes and my colleagues clearing leave, i hope that i can survive.
Reading this bk "straight talking" by Jane Green, was telling my girlies yest that it felt as if i'm reading about my friends' lives and I'm sure you will have met at least one of the characters before. And reading about people's lives makes me ponder about my own life, searching for which the character who suits me the best and what lessons to learn from it. Reading is such a nice hobby.
Perhaps this is what we need. A dream, a hope for the future, something to aspire to, and perhaps we need to keep replacing this dream with something a little bigger, because when we manage to fulfill the dream, we ususally find out that it's not what we wanted in the first place. Or if it is, it doesn't feel the way we always thought it should.
How true isn't it?
